Profiling for ideal candidate selection

Profiling reveals a candidate’s hidden motivations

We profile candidates to help commercial, professional, and governmental organizations select the right person for their team. Because it reveals a person’s strengths and weaknesses, the Goodfield Method is the foundation of our profiling process.

When we meet the candidate, online or in person, we record them while they answer a few standardized questions. We also ask the candidate for four photos to analyze. This process reveals the candidate’s Non-Verbal Leak™ (NVL™). We evaluate all their observable conscious and unconscious signals which reflect their motivations and strategies. It’s a surprisingly fast and effective process.

Profiles can be general or in-depth, depending on your needs. Profiles are done with the candidate’s knowledge and permission.

To illustrate how profiling works, see Profiling Vladimir Putin.

Through many years of service, our policy has always been direct communication (based on a clear understanding of the individual or organizational needs) to achieve the best outcome. As with all human needs and expectations, there is no “one size fits all”.

Profiling Vladimir Putin - The NVL in action

Images of Putin showing NVLs

To illustrate what the NVL exposes about a person’s subconscious, we’ll profile a well-known, public figure, Vladimir Putin. The actions outlined below happen in 1/20th of a second and are impossible to see with the naked eye. By freezing the video and moving frame by frame, we can analyze the smallest details:

  1. Eyes open

  2. Tongue comes out approximately ½ inch with tight lips

  3. Tongue in, tightening top lip

  4. Pressing teeth in top lip

  5. Closing mouth tight, eyes closing

  6. Eyes open wider in shock

What does this reveal? He flashes aggression, shows denial of that aggression and shock, he moves on, and, finally, he denies these feelings on a conscious level. For an in-depth analysis of Putin, see Putin’s unique NVL and Goodfield Personality Type™.
