Goodfield Institute Training

Goodfield courses are online and led by an instructor. All courses, except How to read the Non-Verbal Leak (1.5 hours), vary in length (6-8 months) depending on how quickly you complete the assignments. Our course structure allows you to work at your own pace and you will receive a certificate upon completion.

Our training is recommended for people who want to:

  • Advance personal or professional skills or

  • Become licensed to use The Goodfield Method™ in your own practice.

Goodfield Strategy Profile Analyst (GSPA level 1)

Learn about the Goodfield 12 Personality Types™ including their characteristics and strategies. And how to connect the NVL to the personality types.

Successful completion qualifies you to be licensed with the Goodfield Institute LLC and use the Goodfield Method in your own practice. To maintain your license, you must renew it annually.

How to read the Non-Verbal Leak™

An introduction to the Non-Verbal Leak™ (NVL) and what it reveals about you and others. The NVL is based on Dr. Goodfield’s over 40 years of clinical experience. Class is 1.5 hours.

Basic training

An introduction to the basic principles of the Goodfield Method. Improve your communication skills and learn more about nonverbal behavior.

The theoretical placement in history, ethics, structure of the personality. Analyze and distinguish the role of reports, inferences, judgments, and more.

Prerequisite: None

Advanced training

A more in-depth study of the Goodfield Method including the Body NVL™. Learn the fundamental aspects of the communication process and understand conscious and unconscious levels of behavior. You will have the opportunity to read your own NVL.

The final assignment is a one-hour video of your life that defines your strategies and demonstrates an understanding of the theoretical aspects of the course.
